WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE
This website is dedicated to my son, Michael Rinier.
In 1970, when Michael was just three years old, he was diagnosed with autism. That was over five decades ago, at a time when very little was known about autism, and only one in ten thousand children were diagnosed with the condition.
Michael has had a long and difficult journey. Autism has left my son with a legacy that no one should ever have to endure. Since he can no longer speak, I am determined to share his story with anyone willing to listen. My hope is that by sharing what he has been through, I might help protect other individuals with severe autism from the abuse and neglect he has suffered.
